Hamburg seems to be the best. Availability is pretty thin from other airports and I can only get a transit through both AMS and CDG by starting in HAM.

If your're not interested in points but would like to fly a Cessna Citation perhaps this is a fare for you.
Not sure how reliable seat24 is, but the price is right

Very simple. Search for a cheap FRA-MAD J fare on GF or ITA. Then, go to Expedia, search for a multi city DUS-LUX-FRA-MAD or DUS-LUX-DUS-FRA-MAD for only slightly more.

Can no longer find availability for the itinerary in my post above. Earlier today I used kayak.de and ultimately booked through Expedia for € 233. Have received conf email and could select seats (except on Hahn Air who don’t have seat selection because there are only six seats available)

expedia still shows € 233 for DUS - LUX - FRA - MAD on some days (mostly Monday’s) but reprices to €730 when clicking through to the payment page.

Definitely over for the dates I could have used, in July and August. Sort of what I expected. Shame I couldn't jump on this, but with my schedule at the moment all I could do was have a quick look last night. Hopefully another deal will come along.

Well having said that I managed to snag a ticket last night just after midnight, not the most ideal date for me but I will make it work. There's still some availability on the Mondays of late August.
