BA/AY : YYZ > SIN - $3,400 CAD in J return - 720 TP

Spotted on Google flights:

https://www.google.com/flights?lite=...6*2.CAD.340096

Routing takes you through LHR and HEL which should net you 720 TPs on the trip, enough to take you to Silver Executive Club level. 5 out of the 6 legs feature lie flat beds (the only exception seems to be the HEL > LHR leg). Scattered availability starting in the fall.

Hope this helps!

Safe Travels,

James

I'm guessing you meant to write AY (Finnair) not FI (Icelandair)

You can get lie-flat between HEL-LHR if you can get the AY1331 & AY1332 which is flown on A350 on most days;

Hah! I had no idea Finnair used A350 on some flights between LHR and HEL. Looks like they also use A330 on some flights (AY1337, AY1338).

I posted this to the BAEC premium deals thread a while back:

You can route on the new BA A350 with the Club Suite and via HKG, SIN, ...

AY: YYZ/YUL-BKK/SIN, $2500 in I (5k EQD), $3k in I/D (6.5k EQD), $3700 in D (8k EQD)

AY: YYZ/YUL-HKG/BKK/SIN, in business, $2500 in I (5k EQDs), $3000 in I/D (6.5k EQDs), $3700 in D (8k EQDs).

Versions of this have been posted several times before but not lately, and it is still valid and yields the best EQMs and EQDs possible in one trip. It is still the best deal out there in any alliance.

I want to highlight here the EQD and RDM potential if it is booked in D all the way, and in the furthest distance (YYZ-SIN): >20k BIS miles, >41k eqms, 40k rdms (65k rdms for EXPs), and >8k EQDs.

This is great for high EQD requalifications in one trip. Another good option is booking it for Xmas/NYs, earning 4k EQDs in each year.

You can force a layover in HKG on the way to SIN both ways, for slightly more eqms/eqds, but you may need hotels.

I assume this is with the BA connection via LHR? How does that flight post to AA if its codeshared as an AY flight?

Why would you assume that? ITA Matrix is your friend...

This is available either through LHR on BA or via JFK on AY. The BA flights are usually AY-coded and earn under the AY chart (if AY-coded).

Grabbed a YYZ-LHR-HEL-HKG RT, half this year to finish AS 75K and half next year for EXP. Managed to grab new BA a350 in both directions, and Finair on both HKG-HEL and 1 HEL-LHR.

Another finding, it seems like I could create a stopover of more than 3 months in HEL, thus allowing possibly nesting a cheap EU-Canada J fares (TP out of CPH or OSL to YYZ) between 2 trips.

I have not tested scenarios of 6 months or longer, perhaps others can help and verify.
