AM: JFK/LAX/MCO/ORD/SFO to Seoul from $2815 and earn upto 7694 MQDs!
Another Aeromexico deal with the usual caveats:
- This fare is not for everyone but it's a cheap TPAC...
- Keep copies of all email confirmation showing Business Class as Booking Class
- Make sure your Delta SkyMiles # is on the boarding pass when they issue it at the airport.
- It's Aeromexico not KLM nor Delta, service won't be 5 star but Mileage accrual and MQD accrual should make up for it...
LAX-ICN $2,844 36324 RDMs 27243 MQMs 7265 MQDs 2.55 MQD Ratio
MCO-ICN $2,940 35236 RDMs 26427 MQMs 7047 MQDs 2.39 MQD Ratio
ORD-ICN $2,834 36852 RDMs 27639 MQMs 7370 MQDs 2.60 MQD Ratio
SFO-ICN $2,834 37636 RDMs 28227 MQMs 7527 MQDs 2.65 MQD Ratio
New York to Seoul from $2815
Los Angeles to Seoul from $2844
Orlando to Seoul from $2939
Chicago to Seoul from $2834
San Francisco to Seoul from $2834

my experience has been that the hard product is great, and that the soft product is mediocre. Service and food on board are adequate. connecting in MEX is lame but not horrible. The timing of connections can be awkward. great value overall if Delta MQD are an issue.

I have posted dozens of deals with Aeromexico, the main issues is that connections in MEX are like in the US, you need to collect luggage, go through Customs etc.
On some of the South America deals, the fares were sometimes Y-Up fares with a coach code but showing as Business. Some users reported issues with Delta, so based upon that I recommend keeping Boarding Passes , etc.
Product wise, the 789 is 1-2-1 seating, the 787 is 2-2-2 lie-flat and service can be hit or miss...
Long connections can allow you to explore Teotihuacan some lovely pyramids near MEX or explore some of the lovely food options in the DF...
At this price point it's a bargain for Delta flyers needing to pad up their MQDs at an excellent rate...

Good job by JFKRZE
JFKEZE tells you everything you need to know about the fare and the AM experience. I flew AM to SCL in January 2018, and everything is as he says. I did have to fax in my Orbitz booking and BP’s to Delta for a missing segment. 789 cabin is great, and I for one, liked the food and drink. Unlike AM, Delta does not serve 100% agave tequila on overseas flights.

Quick question/confirmation, from what I could tell, flights to ICN are on the 787-8, right? (ie 2 - 2 -2) Or do some of the flights go with the 789. Didn't see any 789 on that route. But perhaps they on the JFK-MEX route which is why they were brought up?
I booked one of these ICN flights in March (for Aug trip) last time it was hovering around this price.
And would agree with Bowgie, JFKEZE is spot on his review (and other points he has had on AM, over the years) I believe I have read several of his reviews and they spot on (and enjoyable read)

the reservation, but neglected to follow up to make sure they were on the boarding passes, which they weren't. To add insult to injury, AM lost my bag during the MEX post customs recheck. It took nearly nine months to get them to reimburse a meaningful amount
for the lost bag, and only then after my wife emailed, and talked to them, in Spanish about the reimbursement.
Their long haul 777 is bad news, both hard and soft products. The 789, however, on our return to MEX was very nice. Like night and day.
