DL: LAX - NRT/HND in Business Class Delta Suites $3,001 RT

This is my first post, sorry if I broke any rules.

I’m seeing some Delta One Suites rates at $3,001 by using the flexible search tool directly on the Delta website. 5 or 7 day trips with availability Aug - Nov. I booked Aug 27th - Sep 2nd.

Is this First class or Business class?

Business. Delta just calls it "Delta One".

Delta hasn’t had International First for about two decades now I believe.

Made me look. So these are BUSINESS class Delta SEATS, not "First class Delta Suites".

Seems like delta is marching AA/NH for around $3k on this route. Not an amazing deal but solid since it's a premium heavy market and direct flights.

Thanks OP

As was stated above, by another poster, Delta really doesn't have international first class and hasn't for many, many years, so not sure why that would "make you look" for a product offering that doesn't exist.

But as said, though not a screaming deal, it isn't a bad deal for paid business to Tokyo.

Regards

Because I don't know every single flight that Delta flies with accompanying class of service and the TITLE literally says "First class Delta Suites"?

Not going to argue about the quality of them, but the A350 that DL has on this route does have suites (as in, lie flats with doors) in business class.

Thanks, OP, for posting this deal. I don't see enough Delta or Skyteam deals in the premium fares section of the forum.

DL also has new suites with doors on their 777s.

I can't say for sure but Amex Platinum cardholders might be able to save more with the IAP since these deals are direct from Delta. If you're about to buy, I'd call Platinum Travel Services.
