Here's a priced result with no stopovers in London (ie. minimised price)

Just a heads-up, the Boeing 777 is a pretty crappy plane, if trying to forget a segment in London aim for an outbound via MAD on the Airbus 350 as it's a much better ride than the 777 with 2-3-2 seating...

Other TATL options include flights from GIG as well as GRU and to LHR, MAD, FRA and BCN.

Sadly MAD is also going to only 777 later in the year...

Indeed, you can fly LIS-(IB)-MAD-(LA)-FRA-(LA)-GRU and take the A350 on the intra-europe leg, amongst other options

Does this work with stopovers in the US? For example LIS // LHR // JFK // GRU?

The Trans-Atlantic flight has to be marketed by LATAM (i.e. LA/JJ). So, no.

Did anyone has an idea to get this working for a route to Johannesburg or Windhoek? I get it working to GRU but not further.

Thanks

like most of the other LA fares that allowed fancy routings, JNB would be a waypoint between Europe and S. America. That said, I haven’t tried it, so can’t say if this particular routing would be allowed under this fare.
