UA: SFO-BOS oneway $399

Seems like a pretty decent price for a lieflat from SFO to BOS.

This fare has been offered before when JetBlue initially started a fare war last year over the route. Be careful though - while searching, I saw a number of Delta options for $400 but realized that they ended D1 service on this route last year, so their planes are only regular first class.

I've seen JetBlue in the 449 range, even better product... Delta seems like recliners on this route...

Nice find OP - thanks! United has layflats on some but not all of their flights SFO-BOS - using PS 757's.

ON EDIT: realized that the headline says 'one way'. For a r/t, not seeing anything less than approx $950 and most over $1,000 which is pretty normal for this route IME.

Not some. Always. It is one of three premium transcon routes - so lie flat can be expected on all flights.

$399 was available ex-SFO and ex-BOS earlier in the day, and as R/T for $797, also was available during Memorial Day holiday weekend.

$897 is still available as the roundtrip fare during the holiday weekend - https://flights.app.goo.gl/Snwqe

agreed, this has been around for months. Very limited departure times where this is valid ... also works with flights via LAX.

Once in a while JetBlue will match. I paid $404 on B6 BOS-SFO recently.

I’ve seen the same; usually it’s the last BOS => SFO flight of the day priced at $404 in Mint on certain days. Occasionally the early morning flight too on non-business-heavy days
