Sales have been extended until May 30th, possibly due to QR's sales out of YUL too.
update: YUL-SIN is now $400 CAD higher ($3100 CAD) with fewer dates available, and YUL-BKK has even fewer dates available with the low price, lowest I saw was $2489 CAD ($1850 USD) on thy.com (dates are scarce). I really doubt this sale will go on past May 31st.

Interesting twist of turn on this sale.
YUL-BKK at $2485 CAD, YUL-SGN at $2685 CAD.
In the meantime, YUL-SIN/KUL have gone up to around $3100/$3560 CAD.
So the best deals now are BKK and SGN.

The sale has been extended to June 25th. So now it's just a matter of finding the date/time that works for you.

I did a bunch of ITA searches and see the fare readily available during 2020. But I cannot get ITA to show a fare for March, April and May (not the discounted fare, any business fare). It comes back during June 2020. Weird.

For YUL this is not a great deal. You can regularly find this on CA YUL-PEK-BKK. Heck, I paid less than this in early June on QR YUL-BKK. That was like $2,600 CAD ($2K USD).

I agree to a certain extent. Airlines (especially TK) tend to offer the best fares around winter and spring to increase their cash flow. This deal is for those who missed out earlier and need to fly before the fall (to Asia) and/or for those who need to change dates and the fare differences wouldn't be astronomical.
If you plan to fly next year just wait for sales starting early winter.
