Skyteam/Star Alliance MEX to CDG $1950 plenty of dates

I’m seeing plenty of deals starting April 2nd until February 2020

this is my first post (and hopefully not the last one) but I need at least 5 posts before I can post links but fares are easy to find through google flights, cheers!

~$1900 or so prices on DL/AF seem to end at the end of May. AM is significantly more expensive at that point: https://www.google.com/flights#flt=M...;sc:b;sd:1;t:f

This is pretty decent, ~18K MQM (so about 8K MQD?) for MEX-AMS-MUC-CDG. There are fare more direct routes, but it looks pretty good for an MR: https://matrix.itasoftware.com/#view...9-04-22;stay=5

Yes, I would have rather used ST (for MQD/MQM accrual) during the time I wanted (End Nov/Dec 2019) but ST didn't have anywhere near the pricing. So couple hours ago went with LH instead.
Guess will try LH hard and soft product (350/74)

Seems that AMS is another possible destination at $2,050ish if you're looking for somewhere other than Paris.

Oh, bother!

So, ~12K BIS, ~4800 MQD. That's as close as my brain'll estimate it at 0420.

I booked CUN>CDG (AF 777) on outbound and AMS>MEX (KL 747 Combo) on return directly with KLM for $1890.60 on my preferred dates. I had planned to book VS PE for $1.5-1.8K for those dates SEA>LHR to get to Europe, and while I won't really get any more miles this way, it will be fun to try some new J cabins (for me). I have flown KLM Combi J before, but it was 15 years ago.

Looks like this fare is gone. Google Flights now showing fares in the USD 2,700-2,900 range for both CDG and AMS.
