Booked $1812 RT IAH-MIA-MXP, summer weekday dates via Iberia. Split marketing flight numbers so will be interesting to see how EQD and EQM pan out. Hoping the Malpensa Express lives up to its name and transit to city center is only 30 mln.
tobikosan and cheltzel like this.

How did you get the LAX return routing? Was it just provided as an option and luck or a way to force it using AARP/BA?

update
I can force LAX by using the multi-city and does give me the $1686 (AARP proper discounted) IAH-LHR-MXP-LHR-LAX-IAH but when I enter CHASEBA10 tells me to sign in (which I did) and still gives me same error. I am trying to book in Jan 2020- CHASEBA10 is not supposed to expire until March 2020. Any ideas?

You could actually do Lax and BabyBus both ways, just takes a bit to find. ~$1900 but more attractive if using AARP.

Also please update title to eliminate SkyTeam . This fare was never valid -- that I can see -- with SkyTeam.

I think the CHASEBA10 discount using the BA credit card has to be all BA metal. The LAX-IAH segment would be on AA.

I picked 747 on the long hauls, but 777 and 787 was avail on LHR-LAX leg. Plenty of dates. Multi-search took on matrix and then enter it in on BA site.

It depends on which station you are going to in Milan. There are two routes for the MXP express train, one between MXP and the Central station which can take over 45 minutes and the other to the Cadorna station which can be much closer to 30 minutes.

I upgraded mine but paid the $2300 fare. Routed back via LAX and will end there.
