Your google example is incorrect. You have ARN - SIN not SYD. $1204 is correct.

I am not allowed to post URLs because I am a new user, but if you google for Air India Bed Bugs Business Class, the pictures should tell you all you need to know....

I'm sure you can find crazy stories for all airlines, I flew this route from SYD a few years ago and had no problem. Its not the best option but there won't be bugs on all flights. I think its a great price for 20 hours lie flat.

It's perfectly 'fine' You're buying real estate, nothing more, nothing less. A full flat bed. Edible food. The champagne is cold.

Ah yes, but the other pax will want to change it, as they did on my last 2 AI flights, CMB-DEL and DEL-LHR. Don't expect your assigned seat to be the one you actually sit in. Otherwise it's not too bad, but not great.

It is basic. But I'd put it on par with a run-of-the-mill AAdmirals Club. There's some hot snacks. Open bar. The seats are comfortable. The wifi works. But the times I have been there it's relatively quiet compared to the pay-in and CC lounges next door.
