AA: YYZ-TYO in PY for ~US$900 (CAD$1200)
Pretty good price compared to AC that charges US$1600/CAD$2100 in the same cabin.
I went through the booking process, and it does indeed book you into Premium Economy for the long haul legs. Unfortunately the connecting flight YYZ<->DFW is in Main Cabin.
I have no status with AA. The flight would earn 21,680 EQMs, $759 EQDs and 3,745 AAdvantage points...not sure about other OW programs.
Availability form end of January, and sporadically through the end of April. Could get you to Japan for some skiing all the way into Cherry Blossom season.
