Oneworld: RTM - HNL rt in business inc BabyBus - £1500

Fairly open availability in Aug/Sept (and sporadic availability elsewhere). I could not manage to find an outbound routing with the babybus, but the return seems widely available. Good TP opportunities if you play around with the dates. 820 TPs using the below routing if I am not mistaken.

Sample: https://www.google.com/flights#flt=R...8*2.GBP.150298

Similar price from GOT/ARN via HEL/LAX (using Finnair A350). Also available from AMS for about £70 more with the option to route straight through DFW and use the AA 777 to HNL.

Bookable thru a couple of OTAs. I just called Iberia and ticketed within 5 minutes.

£1441 to LAS for the same period- less TPs but J flights to LAS which go from (or from near) London seem to be typically pricey, seems to allow pretty generous routings via most US cities for the same price.
(i.e. less of a mileage run and more of just a decent deal?)

Also, the trip across town on the return helps with the inevitable meetings I end up needing to get to between LHR and LCY.

Edit: When going to book though, pricing seems to jump by nearly £1k...
Edit2: helps if I read to the end where you talk about the OTAs. Apologies. It's Monday...

Very cool BabyBus fare, thanks for sharing!

I'm a bit jealous. On the £1k Inverness to LAX fare in early April, though will probably pay £550 pp to tag on a trip to Maui in Premium Economy - and no BA 2.

Nice Find. I've got 24th Aug to 07th Sept lined up for an HNL trip plus island hoping. I had £1510 OSL-LHR-NYC-LAX-HNL-LAX-NYC-LHR-HEL-OSL all lined up on Saturday and it seems today it's no longer available, though changing the return date on your suggested route gives me £1500 which is darn good considering.

Thank you. Is it special for some reason? Is it configured differently in biz than other BA narrowbodies?

Ahhh just caught that it said all the way to New York... THAT plane! :-)

Here’s a trip report from last year:

British Airways's Lackluster London City JFK BA 1 April 2018

Another report from 2014:

Another go on BA1, the Banker Shuttle between London City and JFK

This would have been even cooler if they had a turboprop or an RJ with lie flats on this route...
