Thanks for the heads up, I overlooked YUL, it's C$300 cheaper, comes to C$2625/U$1968 all in, availability is more than just one day, just look for J class, for example: May 12 ~ May 20

I believe TK allow booking 355 days in advance, tried Jan 9 ~ Jan 15 and it works

The sales might be extended, just check on Feb 1st. I have not seen TK's J fares to Asia from NA going below $2000 USD (a few times from Asia slightly below $2000).

Another beauty with TK pricing, you can set up IST stopover for as long as you want. So you could technically position to IST for your European trip, book CPH-YYZ on TP return, and return to Asia on TP from CPH for the next trip.

TP? Couldn’t follow your post at all, sorry... and CPH? What does that have to do with this YYZ-BKK?

I believe this is what is being referred to
TP/AC - CPH/OSL -> YVR from 1,340 GBP in J return or 695 GBP OW

No, I'm referring to taking advantage of cheap Scandinavia - Canada deals TP has if you plan to have another trip to Europe (usually it's more expensive flying Canada-Europe). I have discussed this in TK forum but I'll share how you can plan it.

1. Using this deal (YUL-BKK), fly only YUL-IST segment initially and create a long stopover in IST, fly the remaining 3 segments later (IST-BKK, BKK-IST, IST-YUL)
2. Buy another TP J fares, especially CPH-YYZ

So essentially you get to take 2 trips (1 to Europe and another to Asia in J)

1. TK: YUL-IST, TP: CPH-LIS-YYZ (find your way to CPH, it's cheap with Atlas Air, Pegasus, etc)
2. TP: YYZ-LIS-CPH. TK: IST-BKK, BKK-IST-YUL.

You can also create a third trip to Europe by flying TP again out of CPH or OSL after flying BKK-IST, leaving the last segment IST-YUL for returning European trip.
