LX: AMS-TLV 560$ RT in lie-flat seats
 

Pretty much wide-open from now untill October (except August). Books into P (100%), so no great mileage run.

Swiss flies with a mix of their A330, A340 and sometimes even their 777 from ZRH to TLV. I have seen a few A321 in there as well, which would obviously not be as attractive.

Also available from CDG and NCE at slightly higher prices ~620$

Do they sell F on these flights or can one assign F seat on 77W?

Never been to Israel, understand their security is outstanding. Is it possible to do an immediate turn at TLV? This fare looks attractive as a mileage run, but spending a week anywhere would disqualify this trip for me - while it's a Premium Fare Deal, it's not a Mileage Run Deal....now if someone can suggest a nested MR....

You can typically upgrade at the airport. You get F seat but J service I believe. I think it's 199 EURO, there are always brochures next to the check in agent.

Arrival and departures are segregated so you can not do an immediate turn. The length and unpredictability of TLV departure security would also prevent doing it via an landside route. The fare does not have a 7 day stay requirement that I can see. You can shorten it to one weekend and TLV is worth it.
