LA : FCO <-> GRU from 1,200 EUR in J roundtrip

Spotted on flights:

To GRU

https://www.google.com/flights?lite=...0*2.GBP.112750

From GRU:
https://www.google.com/flights?lite=...8*2.GBP.102508

One Way from GRU is also somewhat inexpensive (~850 EUR):
https://www.google.com/flights?lite=...sp:2.GBP.75644

Nonstop in both directions on a LA 767 with lie flat seats. Can't comment on the quality of LA since I've never flown non-* and never been to LATAM Wide open availability in 2019.

Bom dia!

Quite nice fare. Never been on LA 767 but soft product on 787 isn't bad. Hard product might be perfect for couples, solo flyers can complain a bit about 2-2-2.

Good fare, rubbish seat. 2-2-2 might work for them in their 787s but the 767 version is extremely narrow indeed.

For a few more bucks you can route through MAD or BCN using their A350-900 , connecting flight is on IB or VY

Too bad you cannot fly it further to the east first. TLV and IST were the furthest I managed...

Did anyone manage to route it via JNB?

My goal was to avoid 767/777 and TLV was the only place where they fly 787 near FCO

This fare can be twisted in a lot more ways than people seem to think so. Can be used for any travel to South America up to and including SCL.

Can also go as far south as JNB using some odball carriers (on this itin, like LH or TK). Can be all OW of course if that's needed.

One key seems to be going beyond GRU for the 1850 extra miles one gets by flying through instead of terminating. Can be substituted by flying through Lima but that won't do much good for most I'd guess.

Excellent find, reminds me of the Brazil-Germany LATAM tickets that allowed routing via JNB, TLV, IST and more... A nice part of that LH segment is that it books into Z class... Don't think you can stopover in JNB this time (I could be wrong) but excellent find
