Booking Class is P so these won't have the issue that some other SQ sales have had... should give 100% or more in most programs. Alaska also credits at 100% RDM and EQMs...

100% credit to UA as well. Tried to book LAX-SGN RT but there's a maximum 30 day period on this fare so it doesn't fit into my plans. Was hoping to use this as positioning flights for my Cathay J itinerary. Is there another way to get the reduced fare on 30+ day itinerary?

Fly LAX-NRT-SIN and it's $985 round trip (yes, you can do it direct for the same price, as someone mentioned upthread, but isn't this supposed to be a mileage run forum?

SQ website says that upgrading SIN-LAX into J would be 57k miles for a saver award. Does anyone know whether this would cover both legs as there is a stopover in NRT?

If LAX-NRT-SIN is on the same flight number (i.e. you are taking it as a direct flight), the amount of miles you get would be no different to the non-stop flight
