Nice fare though not too easy to position.
For anyone interested, i can recommend the Protea hotel near the airport (you can actually walk there though they also have a shuttle) which, at least back then, was a steal using MR points, has a good (free) breakfast and even as a lowly Gold i was upgraded to a junior suite.

Finally a great deal that is easy for me to position for! SYD availability has been going fast and the fare is hard to find after May, but just pounced on EBB-AKL right for the start of my TP collection year.

I'm not sure they'd accept a mobile boarding pass. It's a 70 minute turnaround. Even if you could convince them not to make you go through passport control, I think it'd be a struggle.
