Nice fare though not too easy to position.

For anyone interested, i can recommend the Protea hotel near the airport (you can actually walk there though they also have a shuttle) which, at least back then, was a steal using MR points, has a good (free) breakfast and even as a lowly Gold i was upgraded to a junior suite.

Also works for AKL around the same price. Genuinely checking positioning from LON to EBB at the moment...

SN seems to regularly have good fares to EBB and KGL.

I see some availability from London, UK to Entebbe, Uganda when using Turkish Airlines miles, goes as low as 30k in economy (53k in C) or 40k in Miles & More (70k in bussiness).

Try different dates. Google Flights shows it wide open.

For example, 6th Feb - 10th Feb works for me, clicked through to the QR website to do a dummy booking and the price holds at $1651.15

Finally a great deal that is easy for me to position for! SYD availability has been going fast and the fare is hard to find after May, but just pounced on EBB-AKL right for the start of my TP collection year.

For positioning from the UK, ET or KQ should be pretty easy. Even WB, if you don't mind no alliance membership.

Does anyone know if it's possible to do a turnaround on QR at EBB?

I'm not sure they'd accept a mobile boarding pass. It's a 70 minute turnaround. Even if you could convince them not to make you go through passport control, I think it'd be a struggle.
