Weird the days this is randomly available. I see this deal HKG-DFW on Feb 19, Tuesday Presidents’ Day weekend. But it’s not offered on that Wednesday? How does that make sense?

I had the same issue. Very, very frustrating. It was particularly bad when you tried to do multi city itineraries. Searching for one ways was much easier.

The other thread didn't mention one ways. And as far as the Toronto fares I found some interesting one way fares there too that hadn't been mentioned. You are correct about the Toronto to Asia on Finn air but I don't see the issue with the others.
Not to mention the hkg - mex hadn't had.a post in two weeks . The one way fares are very useful to those that got on the CX mistake fare and several people have now booked as a result.

Today I was able to book HKG-LAX-JFK-CUN using a Mexico point of sale, since the fare was erroring out on the HK and US sites.
