Merry Christmas everyone! TAP Air has a really nice fare in their fresh full-flat A330-900neo business class.

It's possible to book a stopover in the beautifull city of Lisbon for free and a lot of dates are available in the summer.

Was looking at TP for next October and their product looks pretty decent on the A330-900neo. Looks like they don’t have a lounge at JFK T5. Not having been through JFK before is it possible to visit one of the other *A lounges in another terminal beforehand or is that problematic in regards to security, distance etc?

If you search for “TAP Portugal” in this forum, all these fares, exUS and exEU are all well-covered in multiple existing threads. TP fares may be the fares that resukt in the most new threads opened for the same fares.

OSL - JFK one way half the price, but not in reverse.
 

One can book OSL to JFK in Executive for $US660 one way, but not in reverse. Also TAP has a 20% discount for boxing day thru Dec 31st. Says it shouldn't apply to anything but economy, but I got it to stick on a refundable Top Executive one way flight in April (specific dates apply to the promo as follows):

- February 01 - 19, 2020;
- March 03 - 25, 2020;
- April 21 to May 31, 2020; overlaps with business class sale.
- October 01 to November 30, 2020.

I used the code as well, it does not apply for non-refundable fare, but within the 4 eligible period, it is so nice to use these code on refundable fare and make it to 670usd, so almost the same as the promotional fare which made it into a refundable fare, though the booking class was still J, Booked into Oct 2020

JFK terminals are not connected post security, so you cannot go to a lounge in a terminal that's different from where your flight is departing.

I wonder if TP have any plans to get a lounge there eventually. It’s not a deal breaker but obviously it would be nice.
