Reviving this thread since not only is the deal still alive, but the fares are even lower - currently at 1,250 EUR for DUB -> SFO:

Thanks for the heads up! Good price to try out the A330neo (if Google Flights has the right information.)

Question

A big thanks to the OP and to all those who've provided additional info on this very useful thread. Has anyone recently found cities other than DUB that are offering J fares as low as DUB (it would be for DUB-LIS-SFO)? I've searched a lot and have come up empty. I'd be originating in AMS, so not a big burden to do the AMS-DUB flight if necessary. But it's a 14 hour connection in LIS (which under many circumstances would be very appealing) and I might want much less time in transit if by chance I can find it. So I'm still interested in other options, if they exist.

Thanks for any help.

With the new SFO flight, it will be interesting to see if TP refile their ex-YVR flights and expand the routing table to include YVR-SFO-LIS routing. Right now the table sends you thru BOS/EWR/JFK/YYC.
I would expect TP to want to route people through SFO rather than paying presumably more to fly them to the east coast on a partner.

PRG-LIS-SFO-LIS-PRG is $2300 and OW is countering with $1800 BA/FinnAir via LHR/HEL.

Unfortunately another fare that shafts customers originating on the West Coast. Demand must be really weak on the continent.

Is OW fare PRG-LHR-SFO? Having a hard time pricing this out. Would rather fly on BA metal as I am a AS elite but this is a great fare and may have to jump on it anyways.

Booked MAN-LIS-SFO-MAN for £1399 x 2 in late June, with 2 days stop over in LIS on way out. Yep £300 per ticket more than from DUB but still good price in my opinion esp with new 339 Neo to try out.
Noted that my itinerary dates went up by over £600 on Skyscanner shortly after I booked, but still plenty at this price from June onwards out of MAN

Yep. Still available. I just booked two seats J one-way DBU_LIS-SFO for about $720 per person for early July. Also saw late June availability.
