AY: London - Phuket 1650€ rt

Business class London to Phuket for around 1650€ with Finnair 1 stop in Helsinki and to Phuket with the A350.

Minimum stay requirements:

TRAVEL FROM LAST STOPOVER MUST COMMENCE NO EARLIER THAN 5
DAYS AFTER DEPARTURE FROM FARE ORIGIN.

I found availability for flights with departure in February and March.

A cursory browsing of Matrix doesn't yield any noteworthy results. Do you have a link or example to share?

Think this is the issue:

THE FARE COMPONENT MUST INCLUDE TRAVEL BETWEEN HEL AND
HKT ON
ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING
ANY AY FLIGHT OPERATED BY AY.
I assume that's limiting this fare to the HEL-HKT flight, despite the presence of other clauses about travel between HKT and SIN/HKG.

I fiddled with it for a while, and you have the option of taking the A350 between LHR and HEL but this in turn seems to force an overnight at HEL. No additional money to pay for that, though. This may be an interesting option for some.

>>>TRAVEL FROM LAST STOPOVER MUST COMMENCE NO EARLIER THAN 5

What exactly does that mean? You need to stay in Helsinki for 5 days, or in Phuket?
Assuming Phuket...

Also, why would an airline include such a clause? how does it benefit them?

As it says, you can only take your inbound flight 5 days after you took your outbound. So that's the time between departure and getting on the returning flight. 5 days usually weeds out business travelers who do monday-thursday trips. You could fiddle with it to make it 4 nights in phuket only, I think.
