Looks like 20k UA via EZE. Just over half for everyone else.

Just be sure that earning miles on Edelweiss Air, but with SWISS numbers in the 8000 series, will actually yield the miles and bonuses hoped for. I'm always a bit canny about these sort of flights on Star Alliance. Codeshare or franchise? Codeshare I suspect, but with special conditions (like GVA-CDG op by AF)?

PQM. RDM depend on your Elite status since the LX/WK segments get you tier bonus as well.

Flights operated by EDW with LX8xxx codeshare numbers do not give any miles apart to United and Miles and More.

Anyone tried to route this via GRU as opposed to EZE to get actual LX metal? I haven't had time to play with it yet, but the 200% PQMs for Mileage Plus would make that much more appealing on the TATL portion. I get about 30,700 PQMs if the rules allow it to be routed that way. Or is getting P inventory to GRU too difficult?

The fare is available on LX mainline via GRU and AV from there to BOG. However, you need (married segment) AMS-ZRH-GRU availability in P which is rare.

WK connections via MIA and SJO also work.

(The higher PQM earn on LX mainline is somewhat offset by the greater distance for ZRH-EZE-BOG)

The difference between ZRH-EZE-BOG or ZRH-GRU-BOG is only 1276 miles each way, GRU and EZE are reasonably close cities geographically. But the PQM difference for having LX metal vs WK is very significant considering the long haul segment distance to/from ZRH.

I finally started to look into it more, quite a few connection cities allowed on the fare, but GRU would provide the highest PQM for Mileage Plus folks (by a long shot).

Checked a few random dates, seems that the P availability to GRU is fine, even with the married segment issue.

Not sure yet how I'm going to work in positioning to AMS yet but this a very attractive run for me.

You can fly on LH via EZE for ~1600 EURO, with some dates in February.

Also managed to price First via EZE for 3300 EURO in February earlier today on Lufthansa's multi city tool, can't seem to replicate it now though.
