Not only is this not new (been posted many times and available nearly all year round), it's 10% more than the usual price.

Does it help if there isn't any valid fare with that price (10% less) now?
You can always complain and say how good it was before. But we are not living in the past.

Thanks OP. Had no idea SQ has a fifth freedom route between ARN and DME.

It is a decent fare. It used to credit 200% for SAS EuroBonus. Now only 150%.
However bear in mind that you have to disembark the aircraft in DME, Comrade Putin wants to check your passport.
It is tougher on the return, as you have to wake up in the middle of the night - just to tour the airport.

You certainly dont need to fly via Moscow both ways - there are alternatives via AMS, FRA, CPH etc by starting and/or finishing in Oslo, same price. For example
https://www.google.com/flights#flt=O...;sd:1;t:f;tt:m

Particularly useful to route via FRA on the return where you can duck into the supermarket in the basement and fill your bags with food, beer, wine and whatever else costs a fortune in Scandinavia - Norway is in the EU free trade zone so no limit on what you bring in

D15SER3 @ 2263EUR only allows Moscow/sin transit

D15SER2/1 @ 2545EUR allows Europe/sin transit

There's a D15SER2X @ 2277EUR , not sure what the limitations are

This is incorrect at least with respect to alcohol and tobacco. Please see https://www.toll.no/en/goods/alcohol...obacco/quotas/.
