Hey guys, just found a very well-priced LH F fare from CDG-GIG-CDG.

Looks wide open during October.

I don't know whether to thank you for posting such a great deal, or curse you since I really, really should not be thinking about buying these tickets

Excellent find. Fare seems to require a Saturday night stay, but this is a great fare.
Looks like the shortest turn is 40 or so hours. https://goo.gl/flights/FnG6K
Changeable and/or refundable with a €410 fee.

Don't worry, I always feel the same and end up buying a lot more tickets than I should.

Also have been looking a lot to those EK fares from Algiers, Tunis and Cairo but for some reason I never feel safe enough to position myself there.

Pretty bummed. I'm on LX to GRU, booked what I thought was a great fare on a mileage run two months ago, only to have fares drop over $1,000 for biz and this RT in F is what I paid for business...

Sigh.

Don't take this the wrong way, but how is a 2.9k biz fare considered a great mileage run? Another story of course when you need the ticket.
Check the ticket rules if any refunds are possible

Well when the fare is usually $4-6k I consider 2.9 a good deal, and it fit in well with another segment.

If I know my fare class is there a way to see what the rules are? I was checking my reservation but couldn't find it anywhere.

The time to check the fare rules is before you buy....

Call whoever sold you the ticket or try to replicate the buying process.

Presumably you looked at your Eticket pdf.

LH: CDG - GIG 2650€ First class return

First class with Lufthansa from Paris to Rio de Janeiro for 2650€.
I would call it a lastminute deal as it is only bookable for flights now in October.
