MH: DEL-Australia r/t in J from ~US$1,350

it's actually a DEL-PER fare that allows transit via ADL/SYD/MEL. You can do a stopover in any transit point including KUL. Immediate turnaround possible, no min stay required which is useful if you don't need to stay in PER.

Malaysia (MH) ZBZ1YIZ

PERMITTED TUE/WED/THU/FRI/SUN.

OUTBOUND -
IF THE FARE COMPONENT INCLUDES TRAVEL BETWEEN DEL AND KUL
THEN THAT TRAVEL MUST BE ON
ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING
ANY MH FLIGHT.

TRAVEL FROM LAST STOPOVER MUST COMMENCE NO LATER THAN 12
MONTHS AFTER DEPARTURE FROM FARE ORIGIN.

3 STOPOVERS PERMITTED ON THE PRICING UNIT
LIMITED TO 1 FREE AND 2 AT INR 4000 EACH.
1 FREE IN KUL
2 AT INR 4000 EACH.
NOTE -
STPC NOT APPLICABLE
SAME CHARGE FOR CHD/ INF
Sample below shows stopovers in KUL and SYD. This routing earns 17,000 base miles or 640 840 BA TP's.

PER-SYD is over 2000 miles, so it would get you 140 tier points. The total would be 840 tier points which is great.

Great find! Looks like MH sometimes has as low controls as AZ in fare filing (i am not referring to simple mistake fares)

People have transited in DEL without a visa before. See reply 4 on this tripadvisor thread.

TWOV is possible, however it easier to just a get evisa in case things go wrong. Direct turnaround is not possible in Del.

This is a great fare. SYD-PER with QF alone is selling over $2000 even with discount. I wonder if anyone can price the KUL-PER fare thru SYD

There is a super secret society called the Travel Agents, and also another even more surreptitious one, mysteriously only known as the OTA.

Expedia works for me. I hadn't noticed before that the fare is refundable. Here's an example without the SYD stop on the way back.

For those asking where to book, I find it easier to build the route on ITA first. When you have your desired itinerary, either use Powertools or bookwithmatrix to book.
