EK: ALG-ORD in F $3851
Bookable on Emirates.com
I searched leaving mid 2019 returning July 2019. Eight hour layover in DXB. 773 on both legs.
I know it's a niche fare traveling out of ALG, but I know there are some other fares that might leave people having a return flight there needing a good return home.
I'm not sure how this compares to the normal F fares given the ALG market but it seemed good. Also $4,900 for F out of CMB to ORD.

ex-ALG is the new black for sure... must be something in the data the airlines have that justifies it.
This one is a routing based fare with some interesting stopover opportunities
And for stopovers:

I cannot price out this interesting routing above, they are all over $12K USD instead of $3851. can you share a screen print of sample itinerary with the above routing?

I'm not trying to be daft here, but thems the routings published by EK. They may not all work, there might be quirks in actual flights or others restrictions in the routing rules. But they look promising in the sense that EK does in fact have a flight from both ATH-JFK and MXP-JFK would means you could do the DXB-xxx-ATH/MIL-JFK part. These more complex routings may well not come up on EK.com. They probably wont with the cities you typed in. Look carefully at the routings, you have to go to DXB first, the you can go to one of those numerous citiies listed and then you need to go to MIL or ATH for the flight to the US. I'd say this is one to work out in ITA and then book using segments in an OTA or by just using a real TA.

l'm having trouble understanding the xxx-ATH/MIL-JFK part. Wouldn't it be xxx-DXB-ATH/MIL-JFK? Wouldn't you have to go *back* to DXB to get to MIL or ATH, or does EK fly directly from FRA/MOW, etc. to ATH and MIL for the return flight to the U.S.?
In other words, if I wanted to choose Zurich as my extra city, wouldn't the routing look like:
ALG-DXB-ZRH-DXB-MXP-JFK-ORD and *not* ALG-DXB-ZRH-MXP-JFK-ORD since emirates does not fly between ZRH and MCP I assume?
Thanks a million.
