AA: LAX-BKK $2400 rt Business

Prices have been around this for Chinese carriers, but the AA is new and 9,907 MPM lets you book into various carriers after AA on the TPAC segment

Any way to do a stop-over in HKG on TYO? I've been briefly trying and haven't been successful.

Thanks for sharing!

Looks like stopovers add a couple hundred bucks depending on the airport.

AAvacations drops this to $2150-$2250 but only allows AA or JAL flights (exclusively angle flat TYO-BKK).

Crediting as AS MVP75K, how many EQM and RDM would that earn?

According to GCmap:
- LAX-HKG is 7,260 miles
- HKG-BKK is 1,049 miles

With AS MVP Gold 75k:
- AA/I class: 275%
- CX/I class: 350%

Round trip should net you a bit over 47k RDM on AS.

Trying to figure out the EQD, as combined AA and CX? booked aa.com , Can't seem to find how to figure this out as the CX is not an AA coded flight. Anybody know?

If booked on aa.com, the fact that those legs are CX shouldn't matter. You'll see the EQD before entering your card info to pay. I pulled up OP's sample, which rings in at $2409 (well, $2408.21), and AA.com shows 2268 EQD.

(Also, I'm going on the assumption that you're booking something like OP's sample, where the CX legs come in as codeshares: the ticket I pulled shows "Marketed as AA 193, AA 8900, AA 8908, AA 192")

This is the longest distance I have been able to find that keeps it all OW.

These are showing via AA Vacations with I* fares, but not actually bookable. Super frustrating.
Nice find, I was playing with them all day yesterday. Too bad IAP doesn't work here either

You can do some cool routings with this. I saw LAX-HNL-HND-BKK with Japan Airlines also.
