LA/IB: FCO to IPC in J Class around 1800 Euro

Last weeks special excursion fare from LATAM ex Rome (FCO) to various cities in Latin America was extended to September. Interesting is especially Easter Island:
All fares route thru GRU on Latams direct connection on the outbound. Inbound I manged to snap an IB codesare ex SCL to MAD and then to FCO.

Bookable via LA website or OTA. Be aware that some routes in Latin America have only one class. You can avoid them. One Stopover is available for free.

You need to have been a member for a certain amount of time and posted a certain number of replies (I can't remember how much of which) before you can start a new thread.

This is tempting... I really want to visit this place and the tickets are usually outrageous, even in eco.

Nice fares with decent Alaska earnings. Quite easy to route through Madrid on LA704/705 both out- and inbound. Much better hard-product on the 787 and LA Brazil doesn't credit to Alaska.

Note that there's a free stopover per pricing unit, so you can have one for free in both gru and scl.

With a great travel agent!

Rome-Madrid, then New Year in Brazil, then off to Colombia for one day/overnight stop, then one night in Santiago, then off to Easter Island. Return is similar, but Lima instead of Bogota, then Brazil again, followed by Barcelona and Madrid on the way to Rome. 11 segments total. It stretches the Maximum Permitted Mileage (MPM) to the full 25% (and therefore increases the fare 25%), but it prices, and is all wide-body aircraft except for the intra-European flights.

TPs: 40+140+140+140+140+140+40+140+140+20+40=

I couldn't get this to work - I have the stopover for the outbound, but when I add one on the return it adds the S100.00. I'm still going to ticket it - amazing BA earnings as high.and.above points out.
