EK new F: JNB-DXB-STN OW U$ 2127
 

I´ve been playing on Matrix with Emirates first class and, for one way tickets, the cheapest options always involves departures on first class from JNB and return, as a throw away ticket on economy, from IST to JNB.
For around U$ 2.200, it´s possible to fly the new F from DXB to STN, GVA, BRU or MUC and JNB-DXB is on the old F with showers.
I was hopping to find the great fare from MPM from a couple of years ago, but this was the best I could come with. Not great, but very reasonable.

You can simulate direct on Emirates site, advanced options. Put the first leg on first class, from JNB to your preference, and the return on economy, from IST to JNB.

Just be careful to select the A380 from JNB as it's a much better experience than the 777 with the old F.

And just a reminder that the new F to STN is from June and MUC, February, if I'm not wrong.

and when new F to GVA/BRU?

Is it better to fly to GVA or STN if all I want is to experience the new F? I may spend 2-3 days in the city either in GVA or STN. I have not been to GVA but I have been to LHR.

Just want to add for around the same price each way you can fly to JFK/SFO all on A380 F.

JNB/CPT - JFK/SFO r/t in F is about $4,650 - $5k on nearly any date.

Was thinking of doing 3 r/ts to JFK and would get:

- 327,000 Alaska miles
- 69,870 MR points (5X Airfare)
- Alaska MVP gold 75k
- 132 hours in EK F

that kills all the fun of collecting miles with various destinations/airlines for me :)
