Star Alliance has similar fares (east and west coast) from DUB/SNN/ORK. Book by 23 June July if I remember right.

Still live - requires 6 day stay OR a Saturday night. Must be purchased at least 14 days in advance and all travel completed between 1st and 31st August.

I booked DUB-EWR-DUB on UA departing August 20 and returning October 5 for $1451 (or slightly less than EUR1299).

Bit disappointed in this. Was supposed to be going to sfo this summer.

I waited and waited on this all year. We decided to put it off to next summer.

united then releases this once it reaches July. Fantastic!

A few years ago these fares were standard holiday fares ex-DUB. This fare would barely count as a deal.

Yeah. It's tailed off a bit now that Dublin is a larger hub.

For those of us paying in GBP the exchange rate crash against the EUR means a 20% effective price increase ex-DUB without the airlines changing the fares at all.

FX matters, but it's definitely only a little over half of the story, the deals are just not as good in native currency terms any more. €1,000 would have been an achievable sale price for DUB-JFK a couple of years ago, whilst €1,299 would have counted as a good I fare but barely even a sale. Unfortunately the growing importance of DUB plus the increase in fuel costs from rising oil prices seems to have killed the best deals.
