[PREM FARE GONE] Skyteam: DTW - CPT RT AI $2297 Expedia Package

i picked up May 18-June 5. Departing leg new A350 to AMS. KLM 777 from AMS to CPT. Picked a nicer hotel for 3 nights but you can choose throw away hotel for above price. Need to go to flight + hotel package for deal.

I did one of these deals to get to Mauritius and it was awesome - we saved a bunch of money on the flights. Great find, OP!

Edit: This isn't limited to DTW, it seems. I searched from LAS and got around $2,750 per person for all domestic first / international business on a variety of routings. Seems like a pretty stellar deal based on flight prices from Google flights.

It extends into the beginning of June, too. I haven't looked any earlier than April.

Did those flights credit? I heard some people were having problems getting mileage credit for those previous flight + hotel package deals

MSP showing up around the same price as DTW. Ex: 5/8-5/18. Connecting through DTW on A350 to AMS on the way out and CPT>AMS>MSP on the way home.

I didn't see anything for ORD doing a couple searches for April/May.

I credited them to Delta and the legs that I expected to credit did so eventually. I flew ORD - AMS - MRU outbound and MRU - CDG - ORD inbound. The ORD - AMS and CDG - ORD legs credited because they were operated by KLM and AF, respectively, whereas the MRU legs didn't credit because they were operated by Air Mauritius.

I did have to file a mileage request using the ticket number on the Delta website, though, as they did not credit automatically like I expected them to.

Itineraries also price out from DEN at around $2,375 per passenger. They're all two stops in between DEN and CPT, connecting in JFK/ATL and then AMS/CDG depending on operating carrier. From SJC, it looks like $2,400 per passenger, routing through LAX and then AMS/CDG again. Good connection times on the outbound, in general, with things being a little bit longer on the inbound.

Also available from LAS and PHX from $2,800, but at that point I'd just position to DEN or SJC on Southwest to save some cash.

EDIT: LAS not LAX in that last paragraph.

Nice catch! Would definitely book if I didn't already have a full roster for the next 10 months.

I am still seeing some dates late in the schedule from various locations. From SJC on 5/17 - 5/31 prices below $2,400 per person.

Thanks to other posters in this thread, I checked from ATL and saw the pricing valid from there, saving me the cost/hassle of a positioning flight. In for one in early April. Thanks, OP!

The deal is still live in case anyone is interested. Flying from DTW - CPT via AMS on the A350-900 still prices out at around $2,300 per person for a ticket that's retailing around $6,600 per person if purchased through KLM. Like another poster, I would absolutely jump on this if my schedule wasn't already jam-packed for the next 10 months. Have fun to anyone who ends up booking.
