MH/QF DEL/BOM to SYD/MEL, EUR1148-1500 Rtn Business, Right up to Jan19
First deal, And I think I've seen it before, though never this good.
Outbound can be routed on flat beds throughout to Oz. Return is always via Perth, and is 2 stops. QF is flat bed, and MH so far is 737, though still J and you never know, equipment could get swapped. 1148 Eur return fares are plenty available, and can be routed over Christmas for around 1500. I thought it is pretty good. BA folks can get 700 tier points on the Sydney return (Still need 4xBA flights for the Silver)/MEL sector is closer to 600 Tier points as MEL Perth is a shorter sector. Also you can get the single stop on the way back, SYD-KUL-DEL, for the 1500+ price range. I think the Eur1148 is actually pretty great for the service and considering it is OZ. Damn just seen that people posted it earlier. Mods delete if needed. Thanks and oops. Cheers, |
Good reminder for these fares. I can see $1,280 RT for DEL - SYD now.
INR 88,070.00 or US$1,280.18 now. Best price on MH website (which is flunky). https://www.google.com/flights?gl=us...42*.USD.135173 |
If I'm not mistaken this might be a India-PER ticket which allows routing via MEL or SYD. That would explain the need to have a stop or connection in Perth. I'm on mobile so cantc find the fare rules, but that could explain the PER connection.

I have just booked this over the weekend after seeing the original thread (should have bumped it) DEL-KUL-SYD-PER-SYD-KUL-DEL for £1230, decent flight times, 840 TP's and the wife gets to tick off the Taj Mahal! Just the positioning flights to sort out.
Changes INR1000, cancellation INR5000 |

All seats booked through the MH site after I received my confirmation, despite an empty cabin on the KUL-SYD leg the system had allocated me 2H and K, which I have changed, the Qantas front of cabin seats are blocked at the moment will be hopefully change them nearer departure. |
OP, you may want to change the end date in your title, it can be booked through to May/June 2019, looks like the latest prices were uploaded for booking after 28th June 2018

Slightly cheaper in Feb: https://goo.gl/flights/MMPZk, couldn't price it up with the stops I wanted on MH site or Expedia, but it worked fine through AmexTravel

Cool, still wandering if anyone could replicate this on OTA |
I was able to find this through SYD point to point on AMEX travel. Most other online portals don't show it.

Same day turns are possible. You can also fly out of one Indian city and into another. MH flies into BOM, MAA, BLR, HYD...
Good luck, all, and thanks to OP! |
It is still the same DEL-PER fare which can be routed via SYD and allows cheap stopovers there. The cheaper sale fares (currently with 6M max stay or earlier with 1M max stay do not allow SYD routing).
Discussed: Here originally and posted here later |
Hello all, Is this possible to book as a multi city? If so what is the simplest way to do so?
|
Hey there! Yes, go on American Express travel and type in your cities. Six flights in total. Note that not every day will have the I/Z class fares. Some days, however, have them aplenty. Hope this helps.
1. DEL-KUL day n
2. KUL-SYD day n
3. SYD-PER day n+1
4. PER-SYD day y (unless you're going back to back, then it's still possible n+1)
5. SYD-KUL day y (or n+2).
6. KUL-DEL day y+1 (or n+2/n+3, depending on the time of your SYD-KUL flight). .
Do I need an Amex in order to book through Amex travel?.
