SQ flies its 333 on this route, and the plane has a J class; although seats are angled.

Check fare rules. There may be new restrictions on the fare class for the AMD-SIN segment.

Personally, I would trade 5 hours and 40 minutes of scheduled flight time in Y for almost 18 hours in J. I fly cross country in the US in Y (roughly similar distance) a few times a month.

Pulled the trigger on this today. AMD-SIN-EWR-- all business. Maybe the economy availability (or lack of Business) is date specific.

It's an overnight flight. I wouldn't.

My point being, if you had to choose one in Y, which flight would you choose, the 6 hour, or the 18 hour one?

Of course both flights in J would be ideal, but that wasn't my point.

The point seemed to be that you fly cross-country for 5-1/2 hours so AMD-SIN, which is about the same duration, in Y would be acceptable.

For a daytime flight, sure. On an overnight flight, I simply wouldn't do it.

So my answer is both legs in C or I am not flying either leg.

I got the same error. But you can just refresh and will continue to the next step. No problem after that.

Yes, I have booked a 40 hour stopover in SIN. Had to do multi city search in premium economy and then choose the business price.
