Oman Air - CGK - MXP - £928
 

Was looking for an alternative to the QR CGK fare and have come across what looks like a good deal on Oman Air. Pretty long layovers (19 hours), but I believe Oman Air provides a hotel in such cases. Sample dates: 12 August - 5 September.

Just booked these flights, September to October. Was able to price flights at £871 or $1550 AUD. Those prices are direct currency conversions so will price a bit higher once the credit card takes a bit off the top. There was more availability on omanair.com than what was showing up on google flights. I'm trying to arrange hotels through the airline to take advantage of their free stopover (2 nights for 1) but am having communication issues via email. If anyone has any experience booking a hotel stopover through Oman Air I'd be grateful for some advice?

This fare keeps getting cheaper. Now £730, $965US, $1300AUD. Booked last week for what I thought was a great price but these prices are unbelievable for the distance flown and product offered. Link to prices below.

WY also has great fares ex-MNL...e.g. MNL-CMN approx USD1,250 available on their website at least in Oct-Dec period.

3.1k EUR for 2 adults and 2 children: a nice way to come back skiing in Europe next Feb. with 1 night (outbound) and 1 day (inbound) in the great city of Muscat.

Looking hard at this... does any one know if the STPC includes a visa? I recall the Oman tourist visa is pretty expensive, which would mount up quickly both ways.
