CI : SYD -> JFK - A$4,250/$3,194USD in J
Found this deal on flights which is a bit of a discount off the standard J fares found between east coast US and Australia. Quite a bit of availability on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for this fare for the next couple of months:
https://www.google.com/flights?lite=...73*.CAD.408473 Deal seems to work only in one direction (SYD to JFK). There's a bit of a layover in TPE on the outbound (couldn't seem to find an itinerary with a shorter layover). Fortunately the layover on the return is much shorter. Safe Travels, James |
Well this certainly isnt a mistake fare, 4k AUD Is a very achievable business class fare to the USA from Australia.
eg If you don't fancy the detour/long layover in Taipei, Air NZ has a J sale currently between Australia and the US, NZ flies to LAX, SFO & Houston. From SYD/BNE/MEL/OOL the return fare to LAX/SFO is 4,444.00 AUD, to IAH 4,822.00 and open-jaw also possible SYD-IAH/LAX-SYD at 4,583.00 for example https://www.google.com/flights/#flt=...;sc:b;sd:1;t:f Over Xmas it goes up about 25%, still reasonable |

The mattress and duvet provided make for a comfortable experience. Safe Travels, James |
