AF,KL: Helsinki-Dubai 850€

Seems to be bookable even in high season according a travel blog.
so here an example of the booking: Kayak.de

Interesting deal, cause flights from Frankfurt to Helsinki are only 130€ and from London 90€ as 2 examples.

But no houses on AF KL flies a 777-200 on this route. Their lie flat seats in World Business Class are good, especially if you're taller dan average.

I've actually booked this fare. Books into J for the intra-eu flights and Z for the legs to and from DXB. Good fare, It is restricted though: 300 euro change fee and 400 euro refund fee.

How well does this earn on DL? The airlines have made it so confusing that I can't seem to wrap my head around it anymore.

According to Delta SkyMiles website, it says one will earn based on flight distance x percentage depending on the booking class on Air France / KLM marketed flights.

Route through AMS is 13438 MQM's, 8303 miles flown * 200% = 16616 base miles + class bonus (silver=40%=3323, gold=60%=4981, platinum=80%=6642, diamond=120%=9963)

You can route through CDG, but that involves Finnair operated flights and will therefore earn less MQM's.

Total mileage earning for:

silver = 19939
gold = 21597
platinum = 23258
diamond = 25579

You can route through AMS and CDG (HEL-AMS-CDG-DXB). No Finnair operated flights then.
