China Eastern: MNL/CEB-SFO/LAX $1700
 
Not showing on Google Flights/Matrix/Most OTAs, but bookable from China Eastern Website.

Not as good as the previous 1.1K+ CEB fares, but this time MNL is included, so a little easier for positioning.

Books into I.
A320/321 to Shanghai (Recliner)
77W to LAX (Reverse Herringbone)

Max 3 months stay as far as I could tell from the booking process.

Got it last time, very good deal, the long haul was on DL metal. Plenty of low cost carriers I to the Phillipines, Great miles too. Thanks for the post dfs24

I just checked for August, it came to 5K per person. Evidently there are blackout dates and August is in that blackout period. 5K per pax for 3 pax on a Chinese airline, no thanks.

Excellent advice, would have never thought if it myself. I was merely pointing out a fact for others that were considering this during peak times FYI. OP never listed any dates.......................
