Great find. Thanks for posting. Wide open availability and allows stopovers in Tokyo.

EWR-KUL in Business on ANA $2600

has anyone done this mileage run? Seems like there are many dates available for $2600rt in Business if you book on ANA. If you book the same itinerary on united, it's closer to $8k. Same flights and everything. I don't really get the disparity. You would get the appropriate PQMs and Award miles but do not get the PQDs. In addition, the ANA legs don't qualify towards Lifetime flight miles. I'm united platinum and ok to keep it that way. Does anyone know of anything else i should consider before booking something like this?

Already discussed here: NH: NYC-KUL $2500 rt Business

It costs more on UA because it is a NH fare sold and ticketed by NH.

You can always get PQD if you select the UA TPAC flights.

I have done this flight routing and it's fine, very easy.. the TYO-KUL is sneaky long.

UA doesn't have access to the same inventory.. that's the disparity, nothing sinister if that was your thought.

Well, pseudo-Business class on Airbus A32x or Boeing 737 between Nordic countries-Canary Islands (it can be 6 hours flight) IS the horror of Business class.
It's Economy class seat in practice...

Great find!

I'm debating booking with Ultimate Rewards on this (comes out to about 167k points). But I want to extend my stopover in Tokyo by at least a week (probably on the way back).

Has anybody successfully extended a stopover using UR? Is it something I'd need to call in for (as there's no UI to my knowledge in the booking flow)?
