Welcome to FlyerTalk, tj6jeffers. Unfortunately, the answer to your question won't please you:

No -- and it would be very unusual if it did.

There are sometimes good deals to be had for flights to Europe originating in N America. If you spend more time in this corner of FlyerTalk you'll see them. Scrolling through past threads here would be a good way to get an idea of what has been available in the past. But the answer to "Does this work in reverse?" will almost always be "no".

Yes. I booked it and reported in a few threads. I decided to go via JFK, which cost £80 than what you paid.

Thought about it, but didn't want to add the extra leg. Could have gone via BOS on the way home for the same price but didn't fancy that either.

That's fair. I'm only doing it because I need the TPs. Cost wise, it's only the extra £80, but I also need to pay for a hotel at LGA. They're not cheap and are mostly bad!

Out of curiosity, why did you go via an OTA rather than booking directly?

BA.com was pricing the same itinerary at £1720. On OTAs it was £1620. In fact one OTA was pricing it at £1590 but as I'd never heard of them I paid a bit extra to use TravelUp, who I've used before and know are legit.

Given it's an F ticket, I haven't got to worry about not being able to UUA or less chances of upgrades, etc. So may as well save the £100.

I'm looking to get to Seattle in October, and returning from Miami in March. Anyone have any ideas how to snag one of these INV F fares to get to/from these destinations?
