Also works to INV.

Can route PDX-LAX-JFK-AMS-INV and return the same for $1972, 23,000 MQM or $0.0857 per mqm. Book on KL or AF and get 6k mqd's (if possible, havent tried).... pretty comfy way to earn those miles.

You can actually do an open jaw PDX-LON, INV-PDX if that sounds interesting to anybody.

lol that's all relative. It's a lot better than 1x for a DL ticket, <.75x for a CI J ticket, or 0x for a KE ticket.

And as others have noted, by playing with the routing, you can bring MQM up to 3x.

August is now your best bet if you want those prices on oneworld.

I agree on that. And with kids (2-11 yrs) the BA AARP price is around $1600. Anyone had success stacking w Chase discount?

Spend your money on different metals.
I just returned on a Delta One 767 Biz ICN-SEA and was not as chagrined as I'd feared. Especially after stuffing my legs into that small footwell--that was not a good start. I'm not a great sleeper (and a big guy) but after shifting to my side, I was able to get a decent night's sleep. I'd do it again. And the lavs were nicer/larger than expected.

I have to ask whether you've actually flown the 330. It is a completely different product and an excellent seat. The 767 is not so great.

Like I said, A330 has better foot space but still confining. 767 is just miserable. But the biggest problem is the seat cushioning. Yes, the seats are different, but both are poorly padded - my butt and back said so. It was hard to turn both seats into a flat surface. I even asked for an extra duvet to pad it, but still no bueno.

Shoulder room is marginally better on the 333, but being a back sleeper it was still too tight for me. And on the 767 I simply wasn't able to lie on my back without having my shoulders scrunched. I'm 5'9", 150 lb and do not have swimmer's shoulders.

I flew CX J and BR J, both 77w, recently, and their iterations of reverse herringbone are done right, esp padding-wise.

I'm glad some find the DL seats comfortable.

Looks like if you want these fares on Skyteam or oneworld, August 31 is your last outbound date. If you're fine with United or Air Canada, you can book them all the way into February! I didn't see that before but maybe just didn't notice.

PDX -LHR in J ~ 2k lots of dates and airlines

What to choose? I would like a chance to do a revenue flight for 3 for a family trip. They have AA,DL,AC,LH and others throughout with partners. Usually they have at least 1 connection. It will be our first time in Europe so we have no clue on which has better timing, connections, lounges etc. We have no status with airlines but we have a few miles under SQ(*A) but its not going to make a difference.

Fares have dropped to ~$1,000 on *A! HURRY!

I think the fuel surcharge is dropped on some itineraries, leaving the $700 base fare and taxes.

Edit: It looks like departing from STN drops the YQ.
