Was checking the where to credit link and surprised Virgin Atlantic wasn't listed. Never realized they weren't an actual Skyteam member.

Tricky to book, tricky to credit but even trickier to obtain the necessary visas, either in Iran or in the USA.

This is the second EU carrier that I have seen lately that has (maybe unintentionally) stuck all of its EU-US flights into the routing table AND given a free stopover, thus enabling use of a fare to NYC as a west coast destination via a xxx-EU-LAX(stopover)- JFK/ORD/BOS- EU-xxx routing. Pays to read the routing table!
