Segments before and after the long haul will be recliners for all, doesn't matter DL, AA, UA. All domestic Fs.
Also, AA, DL, and UA will often run regional jets for YYZ to east coast US, so you may be in coach if there is only one class.
Anyway, I flew a similar fare from BOS and routed myself to SFO before PEK, so it was lie flat all the way.

Delta One is a business class product (bolding mine): "Recline and enjoy your flight in the comfort, privacy and exclusivity of your own Delta One suite. Part of the Delta effort to redefine international business class travel..."

Transcon trip for me is just another Tuesday - I have already been to the west coast half a dozen times this year so far. One time I had flown to LA just to have dinner, and returned home the following morning on a redeye - good times!
