Hope this helps. I am planning a trip back to Aus around this time so this could work nicely
Dont really understand those rules. If the fare is only valid from September onwards, why the July and August exclusions.

PS - I dont suppose anyone knows of any deals in 3 weeks time as already booked to go to SYD but friends want to travel also.

Thanks in advance.

Try the usual suspects in Scandinavia HEL/ARN/OSL/CPH
or the Balkans SOF/OTP/PRG/ZAG/BEG/SJJ
yes, I know PRG is not really in the Balkans, but it can get attractive deals too

Thanks ubiest,

If I have checked correctly, for CNX the best deal still is HEL, but the QR Valentine Deal is not any cheaper than the fares I saw last week.

For PEN fares ex TUN are fantastic but transit times and positioning there is a headache.

WOW that's annoying !!! I'm not in a rush to book... we know the QR deals are common

I still think £1,225 is fare for KBV - about the same as AMS-BKK on BA
