Does anyone have a Travel Agent that has ticketed this fare, particularly the one that allows the JFK-LAX-JFK segment in the middle?
Thanks, feel free to message here or PM me.

It’s not a JFK-LAX-JFK segment. You can route LAX-JFK-LAX. That may be why your agent can’t get it to price properly.

Might have misunderstood your post. It succeded others, discussing the TWOV possibilities. If I understand you correctly, you have entered via LGW, presumably with visa, without problems. Correct?

Are these fares bookable. It prices up at around Ł1300 for a CAI-SYR trip on googleflights:
https://www.google.com/flights?safe=...65*.GBP.127365
However if you actually try to click through to BA it won't work and AA is twice the price so I'm wondering if the BA fare is actually what googleflights claims or is it actually more like the AA fare?

I haven't looked at it too closely, but I think it is possible. You need to go into the multi-trip search and insert CAI-ORD on a separate line to ORD-SYR - because that starts on a different day and it seems to throw the system.
This is the closest price that I could find, I think you need to select various flight options to optimise the price.

Got my Algerian 2-year multientry visa yesterday. I am only transiting on the front end, going CDG-ALG on AF then ALG-MAD-JFK..., will report back on if they check during boarding to ALG and the transit.

I bought a $1830 ticket from aa.com:
ALG-MAD-JFK-LAX departing 10/20 noonish, arriving LAX 23:50 same day.
I will have about 24 hours in Algiers before the flights, I will stay at the Sofitel. I have a 2 year multientry visa good thru next June.
Then the return is LAX-JFK-LGW-ALG for late March. I will spend 10 days in Algeria on that trip. Not sure yet if I'll buy a second ex-ALG ticket after that one.
I'll post a report on my tickets

Rule of thumb with complex ticketing is don't expect the airline's own website to get it right.
