If you can position to HEL, the current QR sale (that was extended), then you'll be able to fly to HEL via DOH for just 1,200€ (about 1,850 AU$) excluding positioning. Alternatively there's AF on your dates ex CPH (~1,400€ excluding positioning). And there's BA for 1,339€ ex AMS (remember that BA charges fees for seat reservations in business if you are not Oneworld Sapphire or Emerald). There are cheap-ish (~1,500€) fares ex CDG and BCN on BA or AY respectively.
