MH J: TPE-LHR o/w (GBP 531) 2017 dates only
I was looking for some o/w J tickets out of Asia for next year and noticed this deal from MH for next few weeks (Nov & Dec dates only with limited seats). Not sure if it was posted before but I thought I would contribute my first premium deal post to One World alliance airline.

Something cool I just noticed is that you can set it up as a multi-city fare if you prefer to use the KUL-LHR in 2018, meaning travel only needs to START before EOY. So you could fly just the TPE-KUL leg in 2017 and then utilize the LHR leg any time in 2018 that you might need it. And the KUL-LHR can be booked in the new A350 that starts flying to LHR in January. Seems a bit nicer than the A380.
The GF link won't populate the search so you have to re-enter on the MH site, but it does take it all the way to the payment screen with the same price. Availability seems open on just about any day in 2018. Heck of a deal, thanks OP! |
Welp, scratch all that, its now pricing about 4 times the original amount. Seems to still be some availability on Expedia links for the 2017 flights though.

Thanks OP, nice fare. I happened to be going to TPE in Dec, however, sadly availability for Z is scarce....and that needs to be available for the TPE-KUL sector if not everything gets pushed into the higher classes....
Am still considering if I should pull the trigger on this. Can anyone let me know if - after flying the 1st leg, can I change the date for KUL-LHR without a reprice (the fare rules does not address this - only before departure) - do you think more Z will be released on other dates - although I am seeing that the Biz cabin on other dates seems to be filling up...only J available. Thanks in advance.. Cheers! |

Unless I'm misreading the rules TPE-BKI-KUL-LHR should also be valid for a few extra points/miles.
