- from LHR only
- OJ possible
- January 2018 and later

Sorry if it was already discussed

I assume it is not related at all, but I was looking at flights to MCT just now and saw F flights around 2,950 with CW pricing at 3,400+

Can currently see INV-JFK for 1800 in F throughout 2018 which seems pretty good.

Let me correct myself - it's Y on flights operated by TRANS STATES AS AMERICAN EAGLE FOR AMERICAN AIRLINES. Other domestics book into J and you can force a domestic on most routes but it pushes the price up slightly e.g. LHR - NYC via WAS costs an extra 19 return.

The fare code is correct, use ITA Matrix to locate the fare and the rules and fare basis are listed there. Also your info is incorrect, refunds are not free, they cost 150 and you will get the full amount (minus 150) as long as both the outbound and return leg are booked under AQX6C1S4. Extract

Thank you for the info
Could be that TRANS STATES AS AMERICAN EAGLE FOR AMERICAN AIRLINES is an all economy flight with no premium cabin

GBP 150 is a reasonable fees

Even though it's BA, $2,981 for roundtrip First LHR-LAX is tempting.

Nope, you would get the full amount minus 300. BA refund costs are "PER FARE COMPONENT", and for a return you will have two fare components, one in each direction, and the refund fee is 150 each for this particular fare as you have identified.

Yup. Although I just booked LHR-LAX with the 789 both ways so it's not as bad as BA's garbage 744 cabin.
For sure it's not AF (or even close) but pretty hard to beat the price especially using Amex Pay With Points and crediting the flights to Alaska at 550%.
