Not sure this qualifies as a deal at that price, but maybe? Anyway make sure if you book that the flight number is SQ232 from Sydney to Singapore and SQ221 from Singapore to Sydney. Only way on the new ride that has been confirmed.

ARN-SYD is available for ~2400 GBP, but 14 hour layover in SIN to get onto SQ221 on the outbound.

Fares of below €2000 return are relatively common from Europe. I am not sure what the regular SQ fare is but this particular fare doesn't seem in any way remarkable. ARN-SYD on SQ is available for $1000 cheaper than this fare on many dates in 2018. |
