Aer Lingus - DUB - EWR - BUSINESS €1234 RT

Aer lingus flights from Dublin direct to EWR with a decent amount of date options. Lowest one way business price is €595.

Dates I have are December 18 - December 23rd

Where do you find that price ? Google flight and ITA show 1408 EUR.

It's strange that EF lists that base fare at 1306 EUR (same as on ITA) but it's 1136 EUR when displaying the allowed routing :

Looks like a good price, but I don't see it anywhere - the one way price.

If Aer Lingus was in Oneworld this would be a fantastic deal. Unfortunately Aer Lingus don't appear to really be too interested in joining Oneworld, and their parent company IAG seem to be more focused these days on competing with the low cost carriers
(e.g. by launching LEVEL).

If Aer Lingus were in Oneworld, unfortunately I don't think we would ever see fares anywhere near this price.

But wasn't Aer Lingus already in oneworld at one point? I can't remember exactly, but I seem to recall something like that. Didn't completely understand the posts above for some reason: is this bookable as a one way?
