Try CRK-LAX January 11-19 on Orbitz, but you must pick the two flights with the very long connections.

I'm also unable to get it any more. Shows on ITA, but when I go to any OTA it prices up.

Random date 17JUL-7AUG I'm pricing it up on the MU website, USD1200 but it now uses DL metal for the TPAC. (MU code on the DL89)

The fare calendar at the top of the page shows the $1200 fare most days, but on some days it isn't available, defaults to USD4000+

ORD also shows cheap fares at the top of the page but default to the $4000+ range.

Also available to JFK, with better connection times, for not a lot more. It's a long long flight, though.

Thinking about combining it with the SV GVA-MNL fare which was posted today, you could get back to Europe from NYC with miles (or on Norwegian, or WOW) and do the trip in reverse (thus completing the round trip nature of the MU and SV tickets) at a later point in the year, when I have more time.

I see it (CEB-JFK) on MU site, but with long layovers (Jan-Feb).

Also, their site is odd. On the top it shows lowest fare of $1400++ for a particular date, but when I click on the date I often cannot find flights at that fare. Any hints?

Can someone help me clarify the change fee? Is it $80 dollars to change and that's it, or is it $80 and fare difference?

If I click the Change Flight option in my Orbitz itin, it shows that I would be charged $80.26 where the same fare is available, or much higher if it isn't available:

Further down I can see that it is the $80 change fee, plus a tiny fare difference (probably due to exchange rate fluctuation):

Code:
Price Details

New fare for traveler 1: Adult $1,175.88
New Flight Cost $720.00
Taxes & Fees $455.88
Original fare applied -$1,175.62
Fare difference: $0.26
Airline change fee: $80.00
Total due today: $80.26
Nice that Orbitz isn't charging any change fee of their own!

How annoying that now flights are available with the short (5/6 hours) connections, that weren't available when I booked. Guess I'll be shelling out the change fee if there's nothing interesting to do in Shanghai for 14 and 16 hours. Never been.

Are you sure you will get something from SV? If you are a member of their programme, it is beyond impossible to use the miles. It's the most horrible FFP experience I ever had.

No, fly SV, put miles in one of the ST FFPs, like KL, ME, AF or DL, you'll still get a lot of bonus/award miles. Some are combining this deal with SV's GVA-MNL deal to make 2 round-of-the-world trips.

I was referring to Delta's Skypesos, they want 1 way award J, the lowest is like 95000 miles, I'm sure it will go up again soon, worthless when you can just buy revenue tickets for under $2000 these days.

Anyone having any luck finding a bookable CRK/CEB-YYZ on this fare? Matrix finds it, but OTAs seem to be coming up CAD$1,000 or more more than the the Matrix fares.
